Those three albums were entitled as Hair, Slaughterhouse, and Twins. In the year 2012, Segall released three full-length albums. Segall released his debut self-titled album in 2008. The tape was re-released by HBSP-2X under the label Vinyl Record at that same time.
Segall released his first solo cassette called “Horn the Unicorn” under the Wizard Mountain label. He began his solo career properly in the year 2008. Segall started to play as a part-time musician in various underground bands who were operating from San Francisco Bay Area and Orange County. After graduating from the university, Segall started to construct grow boxes for cannabis plants, but his main focus was completely towards music during all that time. After high school, he went to the University of San Francisco, where Segall graduated as a media studies student. He started taking interest in music when he was in high school. Tickets for the Ty Segall solo acoustic dates go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. Segall will then move down the East Coast, playing concerts in Brooklyn (11/15), Philadelphia (11/16), Asheville (11/18), and Atlanta (11/19) before finishing out the tour in Austin (11/21). The new tour picks up in San Francisco on the 2nd and makes West Coast stops in Portland (11/4) and Seattle (11/5) before working through the heartland of America with shows in Minneapolis (11/10), Chicago (11/11), Detroit (11/12), and Pittsburgh (11/13). The stretch of dates will carry the underground juggernaut from coast-to-coast in November 2022.
